POSITION TITLE: Account Executive for KISS 108/JAMN 94.5/Rush Radio 1200/Mia 1430
DEPARTMENT: Sales
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify opportunities to put the advertising and promotional power of the three radio stations to work for local businesses.
- Develop results based marketing strategies and promotional opportunities for clients.
- Service clients from idea to execution.
- Reach quarterly and yearly billing goals set by station management.
- Effectively communicate goals and strategies with station management.
- Prospect and develop new business constantly
QUALIFICATIONS
- Four year college degree preferred
- Must love to sell, be results oriented and maintain high standards set by the stations WXKS AM/FM, WJMN & WKOX and their respective sales department in all interactions with client.
- Must be responsible, conscientious, accurate and thorough.
- Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills as well as excellent organization skills.
- Must maintain a positive attitude when communicating with members of the department, its customers and outside vendors
- Ability to deal effectively with tight deadlines and the diverse needs of clients.
- 1+ years of Radio Sales or Outside Sales experience preferred.
COMPENSATION
- Compensation based on your ability and experience
- Commission based sales position.

POSITION TITLE: Executive Producer for TALK 1200 WXKS AM
DEPARTMENT: Programming
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be a news/current events junkie with demonstrated familiarity and knowledge of local/national politics a plus
- Help to generate and develop ideas/topics
- Show preparation includes research, analyze and provide host with thorough/accurate material
- Find, select, edit and prepare audio for daily broadcast; post production promos/podcasts
- Monitor pacing and flow of program; recognize and assist talent's needs during program
- Screening of calls
- Booking of guests
- Work and coordinate with News department
- Skill, knowledge and attention daily to program's web and social media presence; working with digital media department
- Work on special projects; and other production duties when required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Four year college degree preferred
- Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills as well as excellent organization skills
- Must be responsible, conscientious, accurate and thorough
- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure of a live broadcast
- Ability to establish and sustain relationships
- Knowledge of industry best practices
- Digital audio editing experience, Pro Tools; experience with NexGen, RCS News, Ando Media, and broadcast equipment
- Team player and effective collaborator
- 2 or more years experience in producing daily news/talk content required
